Small Groups
|
Small groups are a way for the body of Christ to experience community with one another and for members of those groups to minister to one another, according to the needs of particular individuals and groups. In other words, small groups at Sandhills Presbyterian strive for genuine biblical fellowship, which includes sharing our lives with one another, encouraging one another, challenging one another, praying for one another, and helping one another according to the picture in Ephesians 4:15-16. To accomplish this purpose, a typical small group meeting consists of fellowship, application of the Bible, and prayer. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
