BASIC BLOWOUT INFO (Posted June 3, 2010)

Basic Blowout is July 17-23 this year.  The cost is $150 (or $100 for each additional sibling) and the sign-up deadline is June 20.  Click here for a brochure with sign-up and all kinds of other information!

In addition to the form on the brochure and your money, each youth will need to submit a notarized ‘09-’10 Medical Release Form.  If you have already submitted this form for any other youth trips during the ‘09-’10 school year then that will suffice.

HS SPRING RETREAT INFO (Posted February 23, 2010)

What:  MODGNIK (Kingdom spelled backwards), a youth retreat hosted by other PCA churches

Where:  Rockbridge, a Young Life Camp in Virginia

When:  April 16-18

How much:  $75

To sign up:  The sign up deadline is March 17.  Turn in the following at Youth Group or to the church office:

1. $75
2. A notarized ‘09-’10 Medical Release Form (If you have already submitted a form for the fall retreat then there is no need to submit another one).
3. A Young Life Consent Form (filled out by a parent)

JANUARY UPDATE (Posted January 28, 2010)

1) Beginning February 3, Youth Group will move to Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 pm.

2) Beginning February 14, HS Sunday School will be cranking up again to study Evangelism.  Please follow up with your youth about what we are learning and encourage them to apply it in their everyday lives!

3) HS Spring Retreat:  See the info in the post above.

4) Drew’s door is always open:  give him a call if you want to talk.

BEACH BLAST ’09 (Posted September 20, 2009)

Beach Blast is our annual fall retreat with Church of the Redeemer (Monroe, NC) and Christ Presbyterian (Winterville, NC).  Don’t miss out on this annual tradition!

All the information you need to sign up can be found in this Beach Blast Brochure.  To sign-up, you need to do three things:  1) fill out and turn in the sign-up page of the brochure, 2) turn in a notarized ‘09-’10 Medical Release Form, and 3) turn in your money!

The early-bird sign-up deadline ($100) is November 2.  The final deadline ($125) is November 13.  Those dates are firm, so sign-up now!

YOUTH & PARENT COOKOUT, August 30, 1-4 pm at the Harrelson’s (Posted August 28, 2009)

Come on out to the Harrelson’s for an afternoon of food, fellowship, & fun.  Bring something to cook on the grill and a side or dessert.  Bathing suit and towel are optional (but you won’t want to miss out on the zipline!).  This event is for all HS & MS youth and their families.

Directions to the Harrelson’s:  From Pinecrest Plaza take Morganton Rd. to Southern Pines.  Go right on Indiana & left on 211 at dead end.  Take first right on Carolina Rd. between Kolcraft & Alco Gas Station.  Bare right at island onto Calloway Rd. Continue 2-3 miles & straight through stop sign.  The address is 7315 Calloway, about 1/4 mile past the stop sign.  Look for balloons!
